Our hearts must always be open ta God's teachin's. We must turn away from tha ways of tha flesh 'n walk in God's ways. It doesn't mean that we're perfect. As our heart grows closer ta God, 'n when we do somethin' wrong, we know it right away. Our heart is sensitive ta tha Holy Spirit.
Psalm 86:11 Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your Truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
Proverbs 4:4 Let your heart retain my words; keep my commands, and live.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
Guard your heart! Stay in God's word! The world can make your heart hard. It can't offer what God can.
I love this passage - Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Do ya believe in His word?
Why should you guard your heart? So your life stays on tha right path. Tha path that God has for ya.
Things Ta Think 'Bout:
1. What's in your heart? Things of tha world or things of God?
2. Is God's word hidden in your heart?
Lord, open our hearts so you can teach us what we need ta know. If anyone's heart is hardened, I pray that you softn' that heart. Give us Godly wisdom ta have hearts sensitive ta your will. Thank ya Lord. In tha name of Jesus, amen.

It'll be Christmas 'fore ya know it!
