Daddy’s Knack For Tacky

Daddy always had a knack for tacky.  Like the time the storm door got cracked.  He put duct tape from top to bottom on one side ‘n then put another piece from top to bottom on the other side.  That’s not all he used duct tape on.  It seemed that whatever was cracked, torn, or broken duct tape could fix it.

     Our faith wavers sometimes.  We get sidetracked ‘n not focused on the Lord.  That’s what happened to Henrietta Mulberry.  She wanted to sing more than she wanted to eat.  ‘N she was good at it too.  From an early age, Henrietta was a star in our church choir.  Whenever there was a solo, the choir director chose her.
