Tha' Believin' Heart, 6th in a February series on matters of tha' heart

I believed that my Daddy could do anythin’. I had great faith in knowin’ that he would keep our family safe. I especially admired his creative way of fixin’ things. He knew more ways ta’ use duct tape than anyone else I know. When tha’ screen door got cracked, he took one piece of tape and put it from top ta’ bottom on one side. Then he took another piece ‘n did tha’ same thing on tha’ other side. Oh, ‘n I’ll never forget that torn lamp shade in tha’ livin’ room. Yep, duct tape ta' tha' rescue. My sister 'n I thought it was tacky, but I believed that Daddy knew best.

We need ta’ believe in our hearts that Jesus is our Savior. That's tha' important thing. We then tell others ‘bout His love ‘n salvation. Those who believe ‘n call on Him will be saved.

Romans 10:9-10 …that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Lord, we fail ta’ tell others. We fail ta’ share what you’ve done for us. Give us courage Lord ta’ be more bold! In tha’ name of Jesus, amen.

Things ta’ think ‘bout:

1.      What do ya’ believe in your heart?

2.      Are ya’ willin’ ta’ share God with others?

  1. I think we all grow up believing our dad can fix anything so, why then, is it so hard for us to believe our heavenly Father can?
