When God Calls, Do Ya' Get Up 'n Step Out?

I know, we all have our routines. We become like machines just doin' tha' same thing over 'n over again. We get comfortable. After a while, routine becomes a rut. Have ya' started a new rut in tha' new year? If so, do ya' want more out of life? If God calls ya' ta' go out on a limb, ta' do somethin' different, are ya' willin' ta' get up 'n step out?

If tha' answer's yes, then get up 'n step out! Don't be afraid ta' try somethin' new. Ya' know, out there on tha' limb is where tha' fruit is. Sometimes that's where God wants ya' ta' be. Ya' don't have ta' worry 'cause He'll never leave ya' hangin'! He'll give ya' courage 'n faith ta' step out do His will! Tha' Lord's always with ya' liftin' your spirit!

Psalm 37: 23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.
So, get up 'n step out! Live tha' life of obedience! Focus on Jesus! Delight in walkin' with Him!

Things 'Ta Think 'bout:

1. Do ya' want a life that's fulfilled?
2. Are ya' willin' ta' get up 'n step out for Christ?

Lord, impress on our hearts ta' be willin' ta' do your will. Ta' trust ya' in all things. In tha' name of Jesus, amen.

  1. I'm one of those people who likes to leap before I do much looking. If something needs doing, I'm there. I never had much of a routine. I've lived in five states and 20 or so homes (one for as little as two weeks, most for an avg of 2-5yrs).

I've worked in sales, management, customer service and retail. I've worked for large companies and small and run my own businesses. I've even worked three jobs at once--once.

I was always an oddball so never had much of a comfort zone. I'm of Jewish heritage and the only Christian in my family of mostly Atheists. I didn't vaccinate my son and I homeschool my kids.

I've had insomnia for almost 13 yrs so I don't even have a routine for sleeping.

I don't find it difficult to do what I feel God is calling me to do. I do, however, find it lonely at times. Thanks for being there!
