Runnin' On A Treadmill
Life today's like runnin' on a treadmill! You're runnin' in the mornin's to get ready for work . At the end of the day, you get home only to continue - runnin' on a treadmill.
There never seems to be enough time to get it all done. It's a changin' world and an ever-changin' workplace. My Daddy stayed with a company for 35 years. That's rare to find these days.
Any change brings on stress.
Any change brings on stress.
How can you get off the treadmill of life?
1. Keep a positive attitude. Attitude is everything. Surround yourself with positive people. They will encourage you.
2. Learn how to relieve your stress. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Know your limitations. Know when to stop and take a break. Know when to say "NO"!
3. When you look in the mirror, like yourself from
head to toe. Get a new hair do. Try something different like learning to play the piano or guitar. Do things for yourself more - take care of yourself.
You can get off the treadmill! You just have to make that decision and take steps toward finding a less stressful life at home and in the workplace.
Thanking God for opportunities to work, and to have responsibilities. But also asking Him to show me my limitations. Help me through the "stress"!
