Christmas Peace

Tha’ word ‘peace’ is used a lot ‘n can mean different things like ‘Peace of mind’ ‘r ‘Bein’ at peace’ has ta’ do with calmness'r harmony in your life. ‘World Peace’ means freedom. So, when ya’ think of ‘Christmas Peace’, what does that mean?

Did ya’ know that tha’ word peace appears 27 times in tha’ Bible? That word must mean a lot ta’ God.

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 

Peace brings joy. Peace brings happiness. Peace is tha’ result of havin’ a relationship with God through faith in Christ.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 

Tha’ Messiah was described as Wonderful, Counselor - one with great wisdom ‘n leadership; Mighty God – His greatness; Everlasting Father – He will reign forever; ‘n Prince of Peace – He brings harmony, love, joy, happiness ta’ life.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Luke 2:14

Tha’ shepherds were definitely surprised! Wouldn’t ya’ be if a host of Angels appeared? But what great news of tha’ birth of Jesus! Tha’ Prince of Peace!

Jesus is Christmas Joy! God sent Him to bring us salvation, hope, love, ‘n peace.
